LCDG : Service On-Site
Service On-Site
LCDG can locate key staff at your facility, on a long-term basis. With a project, or 'satellite' office, our staff learns the client's culture, much like an employee. They are available for spontaneous meetings, and ongoing field inspections. Computers, phones, faxes and e-mail are set up within a week, linked to the home office in Pasadena.
The success of this approach was demonstrated at Rockwell Semiconductor Systems (now Conexant) in Newport Beach. LCDG had an on-site field office for over two years, as the firm design the $70 million expansion to semiconductor fabrication, labs and offices.
As campus architects for Cal State Los Angeles, the firm maintained a field office for nearly two years, essential during the renovation design of classrooms, labs and offices.
Service to the Community and Profession
Inspired by active participation in the AIA, LCDG staff are sharing leadership skills and knowledge with community organizations:
- Principal Lance Bird serves on the Board of The Wellness Community-Foothills, a non-profit support organization for cancer patients and their families.
- Principal Michael Shea serves on Claremont's Architectural Commission, is a director at Mt. San Antonio Gardens, a retirement community, and is a School Board Trustee for his parish.
